Proven performance
SilverClear® Advanced Wound Care devices not only prevent the growth and proliferation of bacteria, but eliminates bacteria completely, forming a substantial “Zone of Inhibition” around the dressing where microorganisms cannot live.
Dressings
SilverClear® dressings are made from a soft, versatile fabric which conforms well to all surface areas to be treated - burn or wound - thereby promoting more efficient healing.
Dressings are available in a variety of sizes from 2cm x 2cm up to 100cm x 100cm. Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days
Briefs
SilverClear® briefs were designed for patients in radio oncology who have developed radio dermatitis.
A phase three study has been published in the International Journal of Radio Oncology which shows that the use of SilverClear® briefs is effective in reducing or preventing radiation induced dermatitis associated with the radiation treatment.
SilverClear® briefs can be hand-washed in a mild detergent, and will last for the duration of most treatments.
Gloves
SilverClear® gloves are the simplest method of applying burn dressings to hands. Our gloves dramatically cut the time required to dress a patient’s hands, are cost-effective and highly efficient. They are less bulky and more comfortable for the patient than traditional methods of dressing burnt hands.
SilverClear® gloves are available in a wide variety of sizes specifically designed for children, women and men.
The first dressing change typically takes place after three days, eventually going to five and then seven days.
